In January 2025, GM2025 brought members of the Cardano ecosystem to Fort Myers, Florida, for a three-day convening focused on governance, innovation, and community. Hosted by the Intersect North American Community Hub in partnership with GM Cardano and produced by Awen, the gathering landed as Cardano stepped into its community-governed era, giving DReps, builders, and members a place to engage with that shift in person.
The program paired keynotes with hands-on conversation. Tamara Haasen, President of IOG, and Samuel Leathers, IOG Head of Product, took the stage alongside a slate of interactive panels, and the standout was the lively DRep DBate, moderated by Dr. Adam Rusch and Jenny Brito, where delegates worked through the real questions facing Cardano governance.
Awen produced the experience end to end, from the three-day activation and program design to the on-site content team that captured the keynotes, the panels, and the DRep DBate. The recap videos and photography Awen produced extended the convening well beyond the room in Fort Myers, turning three days in person into content the community could carry forward.
