Intersect is the member-based organization that runs governance for the Cardano ecosystem. Awen, led by founder Ian McCullough as Hub Manager, launched and operated its inaugural North American hub from September 2024 through June 2025.

Over the engagement we produced governance programming across the United States and Canada: the inaugural Annual Members Meeting in Austin, a six-part Town Hall series that peaked at 326 live attendees, the GM2025 delegate (DRep) debate that drew more than 3,000 livestream viewers, and Cardano’s presence at Consensus in Toronto. We facilitated community budget-proposal workshops, gathered member feedback, submitted governance comments on behalf of the region, and delivered every milestone with DocuSign-verified acceptance, alongside a public reporting dashboard that remains live.
