About the Film

Freakshow moves through four archetypes - a singer, a marionette ballerina, a suspended trapeze dancer, and a mystic - each reflecting a different way spectacle can shape us: praise, endurance, control, ritual, collapse.

Directed and edited by Wes Tank, the video was shot by photographer Lily Shea and produced by Cullah and Awen.

For a long time I believed pain was simply part of the contract of performance. This music video is about reclaiming authorship of the stage.
